Cheddar Beef Rice Skillet

Uses: ground beef, rice, shredded cheddar, cabbage, tomato

Ingredients:

  • 3 to 4 ounces ground beef
  • 3/4 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/4 cup diced tomato
  • 3 tablespoons shredded cheddar

Instructions:

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet until fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Season with your favorite spices.
  2. Add the cabbage and tomato. Cook until the cabbage softens and the tomato warms through.
  3. Stir in the cooked rice and let everything heat together.
  4. Sprinkle cheddar over the top, cover for a minute if possible, and let the cheese melt.
  5. Serve warm as a filling skillet meal.

Good for: A comforting skillet dinner with protein, rice, vegetables, and melted cheese all in one pan.

Optional: Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup tomato sauce if you prefer a saucier version.
