Cheddar Beef Rice Skillet
Uses: ground beef, rice, shredded cheddar, cabbage, tomato
Ingredients:
- 3 to 4 ounces ground beef
- 3/4 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup diced tomato
- 3 tablespoons shredded cheddar
Instructions:
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet until fully cooked, breaking it into small pieces as it cooks. Season with your favorite spices.
- Add the cabbage and tomato. Cook until the cabbage softens and the tomato warms through.
- Stir in the cooked rice and let everything heat together.
- Sprinkle cheddar over the top, cover for a minute if possible, and let the cheese melt.
- Serve warm as a filling skillet meal.
Good for: A comforting skillet dinner with protein, rice, vegetables, and melted cheese all in one pan.
Optional: Add 1/4 to 1/2 cup tomato sauce if you prefer a saucier version.
