Chicken Salad Plate with Ranch
Uses: chicken breast, lettuce, cabbage, cucumber, tomato, ranch
Ingredients:
- 3 to 4 ounces cooked chicken
- 1 cup lettuce
- 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/4 cup cucumber
- 1/4 cup tomato
- 1 to 2 tablespoons ranch
Instructions:
- Cook the chicken by roasting, pan-searing, or sauteing it with your favorite seasonings until fully cooked.
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes, then slice.
- Arrange lettuce, cabbage, cucumber, and tomato on a plate.
- Top with sliced chicken and serve with ranch.
Good for: A lighter lunch with protein, fresh vegetables, and a familiar dressing.
Optional: A squeeze of lemon juice or a splash of vinegar can brighten the salad before adding the ranch.
