Hot Dog Fiesta Street Corn Bun
Uses: beef hot dog, hot dog bun, corn, guacamole, picante sauce, cheddar
Ingredients:
- 1 beef hot dog
- 1 hot dog bun
- 1/3 cup corn kernels
- 1 tablespoon guacamole
- 1 tablespoon picante sauce
- 1 tablespoon shredded cheddar
Instructions:
- Cook the hot dog until hot all the way through.
- Toast the bun lightly.
- Warm the corn in a pan with a little butter or oil, seasoning with chili powder, paprika, and black pepper.
- Place the hot dog in the bun and spoon corn over the top.
- Finish with guacamole, picante sauce, and cheddar for a fun, summery lunch.
Why it works: It has the playful feel of a cookout with a little street-corn inspiration.
Optional: Add mustard or relish if you like the classic hot dog flavor too.
