Pretzel-Crusted Chicken Sandwich
Uses: chicken breast, pretzels, wheat bread, lettuce, tomato, ranch
Ingredients:
- 3 to 4 ounces chicken breast
- 1/4 cup crushed pretzels
- 2 slices wheat bread
- 1 lettuce leaf
- 2 slices tomato
- 1 tablespoon ranch
Instructions:
- Place the pretzels in a bag and crush them into small crumbs using your hands, a can, or the bottom of a cup.
- Cut the chicken into smaller pieces or leave it as one cutlet. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, or your favorite spices.
- Press the crushed pretzels onto the chicken so they stick and create a light crunchy coating.
- Bake, pan-sear, or sauté the chicken until it is golden on the outside and fully cooked in the center.
- Toast the bread, if desired.
- Spread ranch on the bread, then add lettuce, tomato, and the pretzel-crusted chicken.
- Serve warm as a crunchy chicken sandwich.
Good for: A fun, crunchy chicken sandwich that feels a little different from a regular lunch.
Optional: Add shredded cheddar and warm the sandwich until the cheese melts.
