Turkey Cheddar Melt
Uses: wheat bread, turkey slices, shredded cheddar, tomato, lettuce, ranch or cream cheese
Ingredients:
- 2 slices wheat bread
- 1 tablespoon ranch or cream cheese
- 2 to 3 slices turkey
- 2 slices tomato
- 2 tablespoons shredded cheddar
- 1 lettuce leaf
Instructions:
- Toast the bread until lightly crisp.
- Spread ranch or cream cheese on one or both slices of bread.
- Layer turkey, tomato, and shredded cheddar on the bread.
- Warm in a pan, toaster oven, or microwave until the cheddar melts and the sandwich is heated through.
- Add the lettuce after heating so it stays fresh and crisp.
Good for: A warm, simple sandwich that feels comforting but still quick to make.
Optional: Omit the ranch or cream cheese for a lighter version, or add extra tomato for freshness.
