Turkey Egg Breakfast Melt
Uses: wheat bread, turkey slices, egg, shredded cheddar, tomato
Ingredients:
- 2 slices wheat bread
- 2 slices turkey
- 1 cooked egg
- 2 slices tomato
- 2 tablespoons shredded cheddar
Instructions:
- Toast the bread so it holds up well and gives the sandwich a little crunch.
- Layer turkey, the cooked egg, tomato, and cheddar on the bread.
- Warm in a pan, toaster oven, or microwave until the cheese melts and the sandwich is heated through.
- Let it cool for a moment before serving so the filling settles.
Good for: A protein-rich breakfast sandwich that feels satisfying but still simple.
Optional: Add lettuce after heating for freshness, or serve open-faced if preferred.
